I understand the “gmconnects” web site is no longer operational and I am trying to get updates on my order for a 2014 Corvette Z51. I understand the Z51 package is on “Constraint” as of early March 2014. I checked the Chevrolet web site for order status but it only shows “order received” and it hasn’t changed in two weeks. What web site is the best for updates? Does the car enter the build cycle when components are on “constraint”?

A Constraint is a limit placed on an specific build configurations.

No web sites. GM stopped that.

You need someone who works in a GM dealer to have access to check on it and you need an order number. You could try this site, Camaro salesman might look it up for you as she will for a Camaro

All I can tell you is I ordered a Z51 on 2/22/14 and I was told by my dealer i would have it in 8-12 weeks. After a month and a half of waiting I pushed them for an update. The factory rep told them the earliest I would see it would be late August and would most likely be a 2015 model. If you want a Z51 now you better start looking around. I found one close to what I wanted 250 miles from home. Good Luck!

If you are willing to travel to Buffalo, NY – give Joe Lewecki a call at West-Herr Chevrolet – 716-508-4118. They have multiple Chevrolet franchises and had Z51’s in stock.
