My name is Chris and im in Nth Queensland Australia. I had bought a new Colorado duel cab 2.8 litre I’ve seen on the GM Auth photos of I think it will be called the S10 in America. I trying to find out when it will go on sale in America as im trying to buy the Chev front for mine. all I need is the 2 chrome surrounds and the Bow Tie for the front and rear. Because the Holden badge is so large they have put a rise in it. Can any one assist me. I have sent emails to various GM sites but I have had no returns.
Thank you for your time.
Hi @Dilligaf — and welcome to GM Authority!
The Colorado might or might not end up being called something else entirely in North America:

It is expected to launch sometime in 2014 (most likely in calendar Q4). However, it might not have the styling as the “global” Colorado seen here:

… so it could be that the front fascias aren’t interchangeable.
That said, I would look into getting the four parts you’re looking for (2 chrome surrounds and the 2 Bow Ties) from a country where the new Chevy Colorado is currently on sale. Thailand wouldn’t be a bad place to start, since that’s where it’s currently made for (some) global markets.
Hope that helps 🙂
Thanks Alex. I have emailed them but they advised I had to contact GM in the states. But I will try again. Thanks so much for helping out. Cheers from OZ.
That’s funny, since the truck isn’t even available here (yet). I’d contact the parts department of a Thai Chevrolet dealer, order the right parts, and pay them via credit card (so you have some recourse in the event of fraud).
