Just got a chevy spark. Tried hooking up several phones and I get “unsupported device found” 3 different phones. I called on star and they say on thier list that my galaxy note 2 should work. Then tried a galaxy nexus. Then some older HTC phone (only a year old). So my questions are if my spark is supposed to have tge latest software then why cant a single phone work with usb? Defective usb port? Or do I have an outdated mylink version? If so how do I update it? I was told the only way to update mylink is a usb teather. My mylink only has pandora and sticher. The navigation I hear was supposed to be preloaded?? So many problems and questions help please! About ready to go back to dealer 🙁
@hoststl congrats on the Spark!
To be sure I understand correctly, you’re trying to connect via USB, right? If so, I’ve experienced that using Apple’s or GM’s own USB cables plays a big difference in compatibility. What kind of USB cable are you using?
I am having the same exact problem with my Samsung s8. Every time I plug in my phone it says my phone is unsupported… I do have a USB-C what should I do?!? I am trying to get android auto but this is messing me up because I dont know how to fix it!
