Hi
I believe Gm Chevrolet should be responsible for replacing the headlight bulbs on mine and others 2012 Malibu’s. It cost way too much to just replace a headlight bulb.
You got 10 years of service and you think they owe you?
Yes
The first time I had the headlight bulb changed cost me $217.00. Just for the headlight bulb change
Mostly labor. Now I have another one blow. It is the wiring. I had a 2008 Buick lucerne that was a piece of junk. Also a 2008 trailblazer. Piece of junk. Next car won’t be a GM.
You are so right. I bought mine used, and 2 months later I had my passenger side low beam go out. I’m not able to take my car to mechanic, so I was gonna do it myself. Come to find out on this model you pretty much have to remove the whole front bumper to replace the Headlights. Its quite ridiculous. Well I replaced it, and 2 months later the same light went out. Chevrolet should most definitely be on the hook for this. Wiring issue plus the pain of removing a bumper, every 2-3 months. Why do these bulbs have to cost so much?
10 years of use and your crying…
