ParticipantI have been using my iPod connected via usb to the audio system in my Equinox but when I view an Album, all of the songs are in Alphabetical order and not in the order of the songs. Does anyone know how to change that setting so that it plays in the order on the Album not alphabetically?
Thanks!

Keymaster@brandongleich I’ve been trying to do this as well myself, and so far haven’t found a way to display the songs in any other order except for alphabetically. This isn’t a limitation of the Chevy/GM systems either, as those from Ford, Toyota, Kia, and VW/Audi do the same.
Perhaps Brandon from @GM_Customer_Svc knows a work-around…

ParticipantI am not showing there to be a work around for this. However, you may want to check with your dealership to see if they are able to offer anything. Also, thank you @alex for the shout out.

ParticipantStart playing the album before you plug in the USB. And the songs may play in order. Or make a playlist of the album. Or set it for random play.

Keymaster@mainwayne I think playing the songs from a playlist *before* plugging in the USB is the workaround for this. Another is using Bluetooth Audio/media streaming, as that interface/protocol doesn’t have the ability to change the order of the songs… but this only works if Bluetooth Audio is available in the vehicle.
@brandongleich does any of this work for you at all?PS: @vic1212 he means that the playlist is rearranged to being in alphabetical order, rather than in the order in which the playlist is arranged. This is quite a pet peeve of mine, and it needs to be addressed. GM isn’t the only culprit here either, as others (Ford, VW) rearrange track order as well.
