Hello, (great forum and my first post)!

I have been reading on this forum about the MyLink not being available and I purchased my LTZ with the 7″ touch screen in March 2012. I have two questions relating to the Infotainment system on my vehicle. One) is it true since I have a Nav system the MyLink would not be available anyways even if I were to have wanted it? Two) when I am playing my iPod touch through the usb plug in (and have a NAV system with the play pause button missing) HOW DO I PLAY or PAUSE a song while driving while using the iPod? Thanks pb

Good question since I have a Terrain with the Nav.

@pbidwe Congrats on the ‘Nox and welcome to GM Authority!

Yes, it is true that MyLink will not be available with the navigation system. Maybe this will change in the future, but it won’t be at launch.

Good question about playing and pausing. Let me take a look at one of these today and get back to you on here.

Not yet mate. There seem to be literally none around with nav.

So, when I click Navigation & it doesn’t rec. an SD card – what then, use OnStar? Also, has Photo icon but won’t display any from my Ipad.
Bought my 2012 Equinox LTZ in March & it’s a sweet lil ride, so far.

The only gripe that I have for the Nox/Terrain is that they should offer rear air conditioning. For my Terrain, it gets really hot in the back.
