I have the above listed vehicle, I live in Missouri and my turbocharger is going out (meaning its clanging around in there not all the time just randomly). I am still under the power-train warranty but, I have to get the car from my house to the dealership which is about 10 miles away, is it safe to drive it? The noise just started yesterday, and there were no sings of issues with it until it started clanking around. I am afraid the dealership is going to make me pay for it since I, like most do not kep my oil change records and I have paid for most of them with cash. Anyone know if GM is looking into putting a recall on then turbochargers for this year? I heard there have been a lot of issues with them between the 30-60 thousand mile range. Is there any truth to that? If you know of a dealership that will not give me a hard time please let me know. I live in Independence, Missouri.
