Hey all, I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 (LMG engine, 4L60E trans) with about 175k miles. The past couple times I’ve started it, it seems to idle just fine, but when shifting it into gear (no matter if it’s drive or reverse) the RPMs drop significantly, almost to the point of stalling, but they bounce back to a normal level after about one second. Anyone know what the cause could be? Outdoor temp is about 35-40°F, if that matters, warmer than it has been for the past few months. Recent service includes a new fuel pump about a month ago.
