I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu LS. Yesterday, I was stranded, and AAA sent out a truck; after the jump and new battery from the truck and guy they sent out, I noticed things messed up. For instance no sound from directional turn signals, i see the light but no sound and i only hear the radio from the back speakers and do not know how to change to all speakers. The radio i may be able to fix but why not the directional signal sounds Although i can see the arrows but i sure would like to hear the nose. I do not want to got to a dealer to charge me to death what can i do
I’m no tech, but my 1st try would be to pull the Negative battery cable off the battery . Leave it off for 30 seconds and then reconnect.
That should reset the systems causing the problem . If not, then find someone you trust to do a scan of your OBD plug.
Change the speaker only front driver side.
