Hello, I am new here, but I am having issues on my 2008 GMC Sierra, I just recently purchased fairly cheap. I knew there were problems, I am just trying to fix them and see how deep they run.
Trouble codes are as follows P0449, P0455, P0430, P0420, P0521, P0307
All of the codes were already on before the blinking engine light but P0307, which was cylinder 7 misfire. The truck has a light gas smell like it is running rich, and seems to be using more gas, but I am unsure. I am aware most of the codes are Fuel, CAT, oil sensor related. The oil pressure is usually all over the board but when the engine light was on it was well over 40-60 when gassing heavily. It usually drops down to zero when dropping down to an idle at stop signs, and red lights. I figured either the sensor or part of the cluster. The oil pressure light comes on and I gas it up and it goes off. It is just running rough right now and if there is something wrong with the motor, I don’t want to drive it.
My main concern at this point though is to diagnose if the motor is going down, or is there another simple issue, so I have parked it and done research, but I am lost. I am hoping to shed some light on these problems, as this is my main vehicle right now.
Thank you in advance, I am truly lost and need help,
Matthew
