I am hearing a popping noise when I accelerate from a stopping position does anyone know what this could be.

Do you mean accelerating from a stopping position like the first time you start the car and go, or whenever you accelerate like after braking?

is it from the engine? if it’s engine then it might be the rod kinda thing that holds the engine and the body together…..

it is from the front end I can feel it where my feet are I don’t think it is the engine

I listened to the noise again it is like a pop / creaking noise it makes this noise every time from a full stopping position. It is not very loud but it can be heard. I can feel it through the floor board. It has the TRAC feature so I have turn this feature off and I still hear it.

because it kinda sounds exact same problem that my Lucerne used to have. Like that one black part( i don’t remember what that part its called) and that one part it cracked and they just have to replace that part and then voila no more of that.

I have a 2014 buick verano… About 48,000 km on it now. It has been making this weird popping noise for 3 weeks now.. Brought it in to FALLS chev dealership where I bought it in Niagara Falls, Ontario CA and the guy in the shop looked at me
Like a complete retard. Needless to say… Car stayed at shop alllll day. Couldn’t find a thing wrong with it and they stated they didn’t hear a thing when test driving car. As soon as I left dealership. POP not even 1 Minute up the road…
