2003 Suburban Z71 low oil pressure

      Recently got a 2003 Z71 Suburban 5.3L Vortec V8. The oil pressure gauge read 80 psi and when I changed the pressure sensor it said 10 psi. Its making a ticking/ whizzing sound which is not good. I heard a lot of these SUV’s had this problem. What should I do/can I do?

      Better immediately have the Oil pump inspected by an expert. Expect engine damage after a short drive.
