Hello everyone, I have an 2002 Silverado 1500 4.8 and here’s the issue: felt it running hard and a little louder, and I figured it was a misfire so I put my scanner and it comes up cylinder 4 misfire detected. So today I replaced the plugs and wires, which were needed anyway, and figured that would solve the issue. After I installed everything, plugged my scanner back in and I keep getting the same message: cylinder 4 misfire detected. So I was wondering what else I can check or change myself before I take it to a shop, the more I know the better because I don’t trust too many shops and if I can I’d like to save a few bucks with Christmas coming up and all… Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays !
