(I hope this is okay to post here – if not, please delete and accept my apologies.)
My autistic brother, A., is a new mechanic, and he recently bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4×4. I registered an account on this forum to post the following on his behalf. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as he has tried everything he can think of to remove the stuck oil pan (he needs to remove it and replace it, as it has a crack in it):
“My 2000 Chevy Blazer engine oil pan wont come out. I took out all the bolts, there were 9 bolts holding it down, 3 bolts on the bottom of the bell housing, and 2 grommets with 2 nuts. I pulled them out and the pan went halfway down and wont come out. Nothing in the service manual, google, or youtube. Nothing anywhere and i don’t know how to get it out.”
Thank you!
