Hello all I just got my self a new project with a 96 vortec engine and im trying to figure out what rebuild kit to order for it.
As far as I know it does not have any modifications to the engine as far as over size pistons so it should just be a standard kit.
My block numbers I got off of the engine are,
A147
14099096
GM 4.3 LG
GM-0 1
Are all the numbers off of the block.
Can anyone help me get on the right track of finding a repair book and rebuild kit for this engine.
I would appreciate it a lot.
