So to start off the truck only had a misfire on cylinder 2. After Replacing the plugs and wires as well as the ignition coils It stopped. Then a week later it started up again along with cylinder 6 and 8 so I replaced the mass air flow sensor because a code popped up It helped for a few days. Then it was misfiring on cylinder 2 4 6 and 8. So me and a friend took it into his shop replaced the intake gaskets and the fuel regulator. Checked all the wires for resistance and checked for a vacuum leak everywhere. Also the fuel pump and filter and the fuel lines were replaced 4 months prior just to rule that out. So we thought the computer was going bad so we replaced that and now its misfiring worse. So we hooked up his hptuners and disabled the vats system to bypass a security relearn and we used that for the crank relearn. We also checked the injectors with it and the air fuel ratio all of it is good. Ee are thinking it might be the camshaft or crankshaft sensor. Does anyone else have an idea though because at this point if it ain’t those 2 sensors we are stumped.
