The “GM Chevy rep” was the head of marketing for Large SUVs. He was the information source. Magically, after talking with him, the order was moved up and apparently built this week (it has VIN number and is ready to be bayed). My last Suburban that I ordered only took a month to be delivered so I trusted the veteran salesman. As of today, there is another recall on 2015 large SUVs and a dealer hold. The frustrating part is that no one seems able to give me a specific deliver date beyond “it could be a month or more yet.”
