As a salesperson I do not have access to the vehicle production date. With the arrival of the 2014 Corvettes, my general sales manager is calling customers with every change of status. Most are appreciative of this effort.
In fact, when we learned that the 1st Corvette was due to arrive at 2:00PM on Friday we called all those with pre ordered Vettes. About a 1/2 dozen came to the dealership to take a look. The owner pulled up in his immaculate 2000 Ferrari with 7,000 miles on it to look at it and returned 3 hours later to trade in his 2012 Malibu. Drove off at 6:00PM to meet some friends for a dinner engagement.
