All I can tell is what a friend told me . He has been a GMC sales manager at a large dealer for at least 25 yrs. Any salesman etc who promises you a delivery date is full of BS, he has no idea how long it will especially with new model roll outs which are notorious for long waits. I heard recently from a guy who waited 12+ weeks for his Sierra Denali with 6.2L engine. One’s with 5.3L were being pushed right thru but the 6.2L was not. GM was limiting who many were being accepted for production. I was going to order a 2015 Sierra Denali 1500 CC with 6.2L and this it what the salesman (same guy above) sent me. Most other dealers would take the order and let the customer squirm waiting for it.
