I think now in almost 2014 it is safe to say that there is a better chance of Pontiac coming back into the market! I am not saying that it will, but now that GM is profiting (greedy bastards, I’m kidding) Pontiac has a much more stable environment to succeed in the market. Back in 2009, GM didn’t have enough money to completely redesign the brand image of Pontiac, Bob Lutz tried with the Solstice and G8, but it was already too late. I think where S**t hit the fan for Pontiac is when they redesigned the 2004 model year Grand Prix (horrid quality, kind’ve ugly in a way), and when they got rid of the Bonneville in 2005, The G6 should have been refreshed/redesigned sooner, the G3 and G5 should have even came out, the G8 should have had a wagon and sedan, they should have created a 5th gen. GTO (Coupe60), a new Trans Am would have been nice, they should have redesigned the Torrent sooner, they should have redesigned the Vibe to compete with cars like the Subaru Outback, Jetta Sportwagon, and much more.. .. ..
