Happens to my 2014 2LT as well, nothing to be concerned about. The system monitors quite a few variables to determine whether or not it is worth it efficiency-wise to shut to motor off at a stop. Throttle position, brake force, climate control settings, engine coolant/oil temp, vehicle speed, just to name a few. But it all goes into some algorithm so it may not seem like it makes much sense when it stops versus when it doesn’t but the boys at GM Powertrain have a pretty good idea of what they’re doing. Definitely won’t engage as much in stop and go traffic but I find pushing the brake pedal a little harder at the end of a full stop can induce shut-off. Hope that helps! I gotta say I’m pretty happy with my Bu so far.
