I just purchased a 2014 Chevy Equinox with MyLink and my 160G iPod classic is not working properly. When I plug it in the USB, the music starts to play but a black box pops up on the screen and says no files found with an OK button at the bottom. When I click the OK button, iPod shuts off and goes back to radio. I also have a 16G iPod Nano that works perfectly with the system. I’ve tried the solution above and it does not work for me. I’ve tried the iPod once…didn’t work…restored it to factory settings and still doesn’t work. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
