I really like the 2014 Silverado/Sierra, however they definitely need to do something to set themselves apart from the competition. They passed up the opportunity to have the 3.0L Diesel and now Ram is using it. And now the 2015 f150’s 2.7L turbo V6 and major Aluminum use. It’s cool how well gm did with naturally aspirated engines in the new Silverado but I think GM should start taking some bigger risks in engine options as diesels and turbo V6’s offer improved fuel economy and torque. I hope to see some updates in the engine line throughout the 3rd gen Silverado and Sierra.
