It would be nice if GM could design/produce something original, like maybe a low rpm turbo engine that could run on pure ethanol or E85 while being torky and delivering mid 20’s on the highway. And since ethanol is about 50 cents cheaper per gallon then 87, it would be a home run. This engine doesn’t need to be fast like ecoboost, but enough torque to easily pull 12 k trailer up a mountain.
