I am getting ready to order a 2014 CTS Sport Wagon as I am most pleased they still make them. I am going for the Summer Tire Performance Package and Touring Package. Accordingly, I will have a vehicle that will perform reasonably, handle great, have reasonable space and not look like every other vehicle on the road. I drove a CTS V Sport Wagon and it was a great experience; however, I put the minimum mileage requirement at 16/26 MPG which is the same as my C6Z06. Only, after the drive, did I realize how brutally fast my Z06 is, which erases the 1000 pound V penalty.
I am not going to wait on the possibility of another CTS Sport Wagon, too much of a gamble and, an ATS wagon is too small. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
