It took me a couple months of fooling around with my iPod classic to finally figure out this problem.
There are four lines of song information on the My Link screen when an iPod is playing. “Genre”, “Artist”, “Album”, and “Song Title”. If any of these fields are left blank on your computer in iTunes, this song, or maybe entire album or artist, will not appear on the My Link when synced.
For me, I had quite a few albums not showing up in My Link. I finally found out that it was because the “Genre” field had been left blank when these albums uploaded into iTunes. Make sure all of these fields have been filled out and all music should appear in My Link.
