I am one of the people behind GMConnects. We did meet with Chevrolet but they did not share our position (similar to yours). It is my personal belief that they are uncomfortable being so open with the customer and feel such transparency is intrusive to their operations.
GMConnects will continue in a different form shortly but previous users may be a bit disappointed with it’s new format. I can say that we did everything we could to try and improve the buying experience for GM customers. We are all disappointed we could not continue.
