But my point is this— Wouldn’t it be nice after agreeing to pay $30,000 to $70,000 for a vehicle that you wanted as oposed to settling for one off the lot. That the salesman would say ” Here is your printout of the options you have decided on, here is my private number if you have any questions, and here is a web site you can check on your progress of your new car”. But what did I get? “You should expect delivery in 4 to 9 weeks.” Now don’t get me wrong, I like my salesman, and he has been very helpful when asked. But he reminds me of a typical big company employee. I get the impression he would like to help, and he understands, but his hands are tied to a certain degree.
