Hi ,Im a newbe here and have always loved gm, about this motor, i have built a few, to get over 400 hp out of that combo you need a comp cams hydralic roller cam, about a 286 grind or better,will match the converter and make an easy 450hp with a good intake, like a performer air gap and headers, also a little bigger carb.
