@Vic1212 With every new and redesigned model, Ford’s objective is higher profitability rather than volume. The last-gen Escape sold more than the Equinox and Terrain combined; but I doubt that will be the case with the new Escape, perhaps outside of the first few months of launch when the car is red hot.
In regards to the Cruze, the car has a substantial limit on market appeal. So it’s not a matter of the Focus line selling so well as it is a matter of the Cruze selling poorly.
