Were you using Shell gas by chance? On another forum in section dedicated to 6.2L engines several owners were having cold start problems. Turns out once they shifted away from Shell premium to another brand, no more problem. I don’t have any problems with Shell in my 6.2L Sierra Denali but then gasoline is not the same in all parts of the country.
