I don’t know if Ecotec needs a new name per se, it just needs to be marketed more — like Ford markets the EcoBoost. Then again, the Ecotec applies to turbo and non-turbo four-cylinder applications, whereas EcoBoost only applies to turbocharged units (threes, fours, and sixes). So it seems that Chevy needs a new name for its turbo-charged powerplants.
By the way, Vic — congrats on the Terrain. Since we’ve been discussing brands, etc., what made you go with the GMC over the Chevy?
