Unfortunately, I think you will find that the update you downloaded won’t enable Pandora the way you had hoped, as MyLink isn’t shipping on Equinoxes yet. 🙁
Also, in my experience, I haven’t been able to find a better navigation alternative to OnStar. I’ve tried out TomTom on the iPhone and the Maps/Navigation app on Android devices — while those are nice, nothing beats the convenience of OnStar (dial up a person while driving or sending directions straight to the vehicle via Google Maps from a computer) or its responsiveness.
