yes i have heard of the 442 and i do know what it stands for. i also know that there has been cars with the numbers denoting the horsepower (original gt500) what I’m saying is that those specific numbers on a chevy generally stand for 427 cubic in. now it could still be the 427ss if it had the 427 engine.
