I had the same problem with my GMC Sierra 2500HD 4×4. Pulled out the manual (God, finding anything in the one-inch thick manual is a pain) but finally found a button on the dash with an icon of what looks like “don’t pee in the forest” and that button turns off the parking assist alarm. The alarm is even triggered even if I am not hauling my trailer. It “sees” my pintle hitch and goes off. I hate the parking assist!
