I am getting ready to order a new Tahoe, first time the dealer said they didn’t have an allocation for it, second time he said it was past the date to order a 2015, I would have to order a 2016. So as I am trying to order a 2016, there is no build site yet on Chevrolet. I have had to “chat” with gm 4 times now because my saleperson doesn’t seem to have all the correct information. I am hoping I have all the correct codes now to custom order my 2016 Tahoe. Now I am reading I can’t track my order?? I know the starting build date is July 20, 2015, so where in line will my vehicle be? My brother in law had a corvette built and was able to watch it’s progress online through a web cam. Is a corvette that much more money than a Tahoe? Come on Chevrolet, give the customers what they want. We are taking the time to custom build a vehicle, give us some way to track it’s progress.
