We had an issue with our I Pod dropping out, but then all the sudden it was back and for almost 6 months it worked fine. We also had a issue with our Navigation and the voice prompts. We would set the volume of the nav. voice prompts and would hear the instructions as we drove, but then all the sudden we would miss a turn because “she” didn’t tell us anything. Upon investigation, we found the the voice prompts volume went to zero on it’s own. WE could adjust the volume again, but what happened? So we went to the dealer for help. Two days later, we got our 2014 Acadia back, but the dealer service staff told us that our I Pod could not be used with the system other than by Bluetooth. The dealer installed an update to the Intellink and the up date “may” fix the voice prompt issue. The new issue now is with the I Pod connection. If we plug it in, we get “I Pod is Connecting” but soon that prompt disappears and it is “not” connected. The dealer service agent tells us that our I Pod never worked other than Bluetooth as it does now, but it did. So we are waiting for “another” fix and we still do not know if the update fixed the original issue with the voice prompt issue. That issue was intermittent and we have not used it much yet. We have been told by customer support that “they are working on it” but from the number of posts at both this site and others, you have to wonder. We were told, give it a week! It’s been almost two already and nothing so far. Lets ALL keep our fingers crossed that they can figure this out soon. Like others have said, we pay a lot for the options and we expect then to function as advertised. Like with the nav voice prompts, it would be easy to have an accident because you didn’t get the directions you should have gotten, then all the sudden you make a bad maneuver causing an accident. That could be almost as bad as a defective ignition key switch!
