My 2018 Silverado Z-71 LTZ 6.2 L with 170,000 miles is beginning to have lifter issues in cylinder number 4. I was originally told by the dealer that it was the exhaust manifold gasket. I won several Silverado’s with either the 6.0 or 6.2 and they have all had the camshaft and lifters replaced. I also own a 2024 Tahoe High Country and lo and behold, we have the engine recall for it as well. My oldest truck (2008) has 600,000 miles and still going strong. But I have changed the lifters twice and transmission once. If we could post photos, I would post one of the push rod that was bent by hitting the camshaft. This came from my 2015 Silverado Z-71 LTZ 6.2L. The point of this long diatribe is that all of my vehicles had well over 100,000 miles before the lifters let loose.
