The latest bulletin from GM #N252494000 for engine that passes the picoscope test dealers are to change the oil and filter with 0-40 oil, along with a new oil cap. For those that fail GM will replace the engine and use 0-20 oil. GM says in the bulletin this is a parts failure not a oil problem
