My 2022.5 (refreshed) came thru with AFM/DOD delete as it was built during Covid and apparently GM got permission to continue building even though it didn’t have DOD. However my daughters 2018 GMC has eaten 1 set of lifters on the passenger side. No cam damage but I did replace 4 lifters. As it turns out ,once I removed the defective lifter i simply dropped it on the concrete floor and it snapped back into the inflated mode. Would I trust it again–NO – but the new lifters could do the same thing again and fail. WHY will GM not fix this??
