Reply To: Why the big secret on tracking your vehicle?

Excuse me but I am a bit confused.

I ordered an 2015 C7 from my local dealer back in Dec. At that time, to show I was serious, I gave them a $30,000 deposit. (I traded in my ZO6 the same day as placing my order, and did not take a check).

Since then my order status has remained at 1100. I received a text from him last week, (Feb. 6th), telling me there were restraints on the Z51 option.) That I knew. This option has been on restraint for months.

I have since texted my salesperson, AND left messages and have not received and contact from him.

All I want to know is who is responsible for moving the vehicle order from 1100, to 1101, or 1102?

I think they have to have an allocation to place the vehicle order, but in 3 months, I would think they would be able to do that.

My gut tells me that they are placing orders for vehicles not on constraints so that they have vehicles on the floor to sell. At the time he told me they sell every Corvette they receive within 10 days.

– Frustrated !
