FYI All:

I read on line that keeping the PCV Hose from air box to engine cleaned regularly helps.

Dealers are upgrading the PCV hoses to a larger 1/2″ diameter flexible hose w/ connectors and capping off the old PCV connector in the air box as a fix improving engine PCV and reducing risk of moisture freeze up and clogging of the line.

Also by adding a pressure relief oil fill cap (AC/ Delco P/N FC219) or keeping the existing pressure relief oil filler cap clean and functioning will help to reduce the risk of crankcase pressure buildup and rear main oil seal failure.
