I too special order a GMC tow max with the 6.2 and 8 SPD. My first build date was 1/5/2015 and 2/15/2015 now today 3/15/2015. It is at order status 3000. The only thing I can figure out is there may have been a supplier issue with the 3.42 rear ends. I would rather get a truthful answer than “I don’t know” and have my 2015 come in halfway through the production year. With service like this the only customers GM will keep are diehards. Believe me, I am a diehard GM guy but after 15 GM trucks I am thinking of switching brands.
