I agree with Chris. There WERE write ups about the 8 speed tranny coming. You should have done some homework. As far as the mileage on the window sticker goes, come on, guys! We have known for how many years now that the EPA mileage rating is nowhere near reality? God knows you didn’t buy a full size V8 vehicle for it’s great mileage.
What I want to know is, why is the 6.0 engine still the default on 2500 and 3500 Sierras while the 6.2 is now offered as the engine upgrade on the 1500 Sierra? I’ll bet ya THAT baby gets about 8 miles to the gallon!
