21sierrablues, first no technician has been muffled about the lifters and anyone will tell you that is has been a on going problem however the new generation lifters seem to be a lot better than in the past. Just a heads up, your Denali can with synthetic oil and if you have your oil changed at a dealership you got synthetic oil.
Keenas1962, that is one of the dumbest reason to deny a warranty claim that I’ve ever heard. I’d be curious, was it the dealership or GM that denied the claim? Funny part is that I could drive back to my dealership and I’ll bet we have 10 or more trucks on the lot with tires that are larger than 4 inches bigger than stock.
I just dont get some service dept these day, I’d do everything I could to push this jobs through under warranty, lots parts and labor they are pushing out the door.
