You didn’t pull the o-sh1t lever?
12 YEARS is a long time though.. Are you in a heavily salted area during the winter?
I have a power steering cooler line rot after 10 years. I replaced brake/fuel lines myself after 15 years. This was on a 1987 j-body.
Well – at any rate – if your brake lines are corroded and leaking – you would be out of brakes by now. Do they still work? Maybe it is your power booster for your brakes that is bad? Or your master cylinder is toast?
