GMO guys, I already have buyers remorse. I have only owned my Canyon Denali since 09/15/23. Already having problems with the infotainment system. 1st week, black screen while driving – near dust, lucky I had lights set on automatic. Headlights came on, but after stopping for a few hours at an appointment, screen came back after getting back into vehicle. Then the next day, app screen froze and could not get to any apps, or change anything the infotainment system controlled. Got out of the vehicle for e few hours and reset it 2 times and came back to normal later. Then had the flickering infotainment screen another day which also made my instrument panel go from dim to bright and back several times. The latest thing was yesterday at 2:30am on the freeway (lucky traffic was extremely light). Infotainment screen began flickering again, and eventually went black, but this time it shut my headlights off. Had to pull over and stop. Took 3 times of resetting the system to get it to come back on.
Took it to my dealer, and of course they couldn’t repeat the problem, so nothing done. Now engine is idling rough. So I have another appointment this Friday. So keeping my fingers crossed. Others I have talked have had their battery completely drained. Dealer advised me not to take any OTA updates until further notice as it may fry the computer. Any updates should be done manually by the dealer. Not what I bargained for in a brand new vehicle. Now I am on eggshells every time I drive because I don’t know what’s going to happen next or if the problems encountered will strand me somewhere. Many more are having these same problems and dealer says there is no specific fix yet.
