Yep its normal.I have owned a 2021 RST 5.3 (unfortunately totaled) replaced it with a 2022 refresh 5.3, both engines make the ticking sound on cold startup, which quiets down after about 5 min. There is a TSB # 19-NA-218 on the issue for the 22 don’t know if it applies to your 23 maybe bring it up to the dealer
