Frustrating because there are many features that don’t work as a result of this and you would think GM would do a little better for their customers. I have a 2017 and 2014 Chevrolet and both still have a data plan. The other sad thing is that most employees at Onstar have no clue what you are talking about. I believe you can opt to buy a subscription and receive 3 months free, but you have to provide Onstar with your Credit Card number to do this. We did not renew our data plan
