I am having this same issue with my 22 Duramax Silverado 1500. the dealer I took it to did a quick diagnostic by plugging a tool into the trailer lioght/brake connector and pressed the brakes and the lights lit up, therefore nothing wrong with the truck. I found service bulletin N222384930 which I then relayed to the Chevy dealer service team. All my trailer lights work and I get very little voltage output on the brake output pin. I tried with a friend’s truck and all work fine. I do not get a trailer brake message, but continue to get the “Check Trailer Wiring” message when connected to the trailer and the trailer brakes will not engage. Any input if I am having the same issue as above or different? If anyone has had the service bulletin fix done, did it fix the issue? Thank you.
